A Day at the Races

The MEX Team headed out to the Willowbank Raceway to cheer on Will, Lee and the whole Erebus racing team on Sunday at the Coates Hire Ipswich 400.

With the Hills packed with the V8 faithful, the buzz of the Aussie Cars, the thunderous Dunlop Series followed by the v8s, it was a deafening but exciting afternoon at the races.

The day started with a pit tour of the Erebus pit lane and a close up look at the #9 MEX Sponsored car. Some MEX staff were also lucky enough to get onto the track before the start of the main race getting up, close and personal with the Erebus race cars.

In the qualifying race, Will Davison maintained his good weekend with a 10th place finish. Unfortunately dropping 8 places to finish 18th in the Final race of the Event. Will now sits on 14th position in the overall standings. Lee Holdsworth finished his weekend in 23rd position putting him in 17th position overall.
