A look at MEX over 2018

This year MEX celebrated its 25th anniversary. Since the inception of MEX in 1993, the company has grown from strength to strength, where the original team of 2 has expanded to include 25 full time staff. With the MEX software developing over the years from Magic, to Access, Dot Net, Silverlight and the current HTML 5 V15 version. Our products now range from the MEX CMMS, FleetMEX Fleet Management, MEX Ops Requests and a number of optional modules to make using MEX/FleetMEX even easier.

We have accomplished a lot during our first 25 years and amassed a good number of customers all over the world. MEX has 12,000 users in over 2,000 companies using the system to manage their maintenance operations.

We are very excited to see what the future has in stall for MEX where our plan is to keep it exactly the way it is on the outside. But on the inside, improvements will continue to be made to ensure our systems are using the latest technologies, to ensure our users get the best possible experience.

This year we put a lot of emphasis in further improving the MEX V15 platform. We worked closely with our customers to ensure that they are getting the most out of the system by working through any reported issues. Lifting not only our issue resolution times, but improving on the level of support that our customers experience.

We also put through a number of enhancements to go along with our philosophy: to provide a user-friendly and simple system. 2018 saw the introduction of God Mode. A complete administration control centre allowing you to work through the MEX system to apply security and mandatory settings, change field names and add custom fields with ease, without jumping between the original setup forms.

We have also introduced a brand new Report Designer with updated features including an easy to use interface, upgraded Report QBE query designer, simple and effective Database Table Browser and Preview tools and a Cloud Based Report Repository to download MEX system reports.

Other enhancements to the MEX CMMS include an upgraded scheduled tasks process within the system, reintroduction of region editing features and a search option.
