Ensure your Downloads don’t get blocked in Chrome

In recent months Google has announced that all downloads made inside their Chrome broser over the insecure HTTP protocol will prompt warnings and over time Google will release updates that will block these downloads completely.

(see graph below for the version number each download type will be blocked)

To ensure your MEX site isn’t affected by this and for general security we would highly recommend enabling SSL (HTTPS) on your MEX site. Here is a guide to Configuring SSL on Your Server to help you out.

Do note that if your system is on the MEX Data Hosting service then our administrators would have already ensured that you are on a secure link.
