MEX Data Hosting Upgrade December 2020
MEX prides itself on providing the best in software solutions and services. Hosting being one of them. With over 40 Servers hosting over 600 customers, hosted users can safely carry out maintenance and access data anywhere.
To end another successful year, we are performing server upgrades on shared MEX Hosting servers, upgrading to the latest versions available in Microsoft and SQL servers. These upgrades are designed to further reinforce the reliability and security of our hosted platforms. With the latest in Microsoft’s security enhancements and the most updated patches put in place for your benefit.
Complimented with security upgrades in MEX itself, our automatic build updates ensure that your data is more secure than it has ever been.
When will the migration take place?
A number of shared boxes have already been updated with more scheduled over the next two weeks.
To keep you in the loop, all users will receive a migration notice a week before the move and all updates will posted on their respective hosting box's status pages. We ask that you keep an eye out for the emails and check your assigned status page.
Each of these planned migrations will be conducted at an off-peak time from 6pm to midnight within an assigned transition period.
