MEX User Licensing Explained

MEX User Licensing Explained

There has been no better time than now to review your MEX user count. Packed full of features, the arrival of the new MEX Mobile App makes managing maintenance in the field even easier! To make use of these new mobile features, you may find an increased need for extra MEX Users.

First and foremost, it is important to understand how our CMMS licensing works. MEX licenses are based on a concurrent user basis – which means the number of users accessing the MEX system at the same time.

This means you can have as many people with access to MEX on multiple devices however if you purchase 2 licenses for example then only 2 people be logged into the system at the same time. If a third person wants to use the system, then one of the two original users must first log out.

Please note that there is no specific license type for either desktop or mobile licenses. They both run out of the same pool of concurrent licenses – no matter what type of device you are using.

Whether you are using Android, iOS, UWP or a desktop computer, now is the time to make sure you have enough MEX Licenses to make it easier for you to do your job anywhere, at any time!
