Before making any changes, it’s important to understand how MEX licensing works. MEX licenses operate on a concurrent user basis. This means the number of users who can access the system simultaneously depends on the number of licenses you own.
For example:
- If you have 2 licenses, up to 2 users can be logged into MEX at the same time.
- If a third user attempts to log in, one of the original two users must first log out.
Licensing Across All Devices
There’s no need to worry about separate licenses for desktop or mobile devices. MEX licenses are shared across all device types, including:
- Android
- iOS
- UWP (Universal Windows Platform)
- Desktop computers
This unified licensing approach ensures that no matter where you’re working, you’ll be using the same pool of concurrent licenses.
