New Apple iOS 8 and Compatible devices

Here at MEX we strive to keep our software up to date and compatible with all the latest versions of the various operating systems MEX runs on. With the impending release of the new iOS 8 from Apple, it is important to keep informed of whether or not your current apple device is compatible with the new version.

Apple is describing this release as the Biggest iOS Release ever for both developers and end users. With new features including more tools for developers, cross device access to photos and files through iCloud Drive, new HealthKit, all new keyboard functions, and an updated Siri to name a few.

For MEX users using older versions of the apple devices here is a list of all the compatible devices for Apples iOS 8.

• iPhone 4S
• iPhone 5
• iPhone 5c
• iPhone 5s
• iPod Touch fifth Generation
• iPad 2
• iPad with Retina display
• iPad Air
• iPad mini
• iPad mini with Retina display
• iPad (third-generation)
• iPad (fourth-generation)

Unsupported devices are as follows

• iPod touch fourth-generation and older
• iPhone 4 and older
• Original iPad 1

Once the new iOS is released, be sure that MEX for the iPad and iPhone will also be updated
