New MEX Version 14 Update Released September 2016

A number of bug fixes and enhancements have been applied to MEX V14 released on the 12th of September 2016.

Enhancements include the use of the MEX SMTP service when no SMTP details are specified and the improvement in performance so a few columns added via the Add Listing Columns option.

The main Bug Fixes for this release include:

General

  • Add-on-the-fly will now take regions into account.
  • Deleting Trades will now check for related records before deleting.
  • The Employee Number is now limited to 10 characters to match the database.
  • Frequency Type dropdown now displays as expected in the Report Filtering form.

Asset Register

  • When adding APL’s to Asset’s it will now open the form as expected when you have more than 60,000 Catalogue items to display.
  • Catalogue items are now regionalized as expected when adding APL’s to Assets.

Work Orders

  • Having your time zone offset will now set the Raised Date/Time correctly when a Work Order is generated from a Request.
  • When APL is added to the Spares tab the estimated quantity for the Asset selected on the Work Order will be populated as expected.
  • Week number in the Work Order Scheduler no longer shows 1 too high when in different time zones.

Reports

  • Emailing a Report from the Preview Window when the Report name contains a ‘/’ character will now work as expected.

Security

  • Contractor Invoice Entry form is now available in Security Setup.

Preventative Maintenance

  • PM’s will now show not due as expected when setting the lead time for certain combinations in the Activator.
  • When you tick the Requisition checkbox on the Spares tab of a Standard Job, it will raise the Requisition as expected when you generate a Work Order from the job.
