Race On at the Phillip Island 400
And then there were two!
Racing has gone to the island, Phillip Island! In a 400km race that is the second last event of the V8 Supercars season.
The Enduros have come and gone and we are back down to the championship drivers of Will Davison and Lee Holdsworth taking the helm of their respective cars.
The MEX Sponsored Erebus #9 car will be spearheaded by Will, hoping his car will take him all the way after mechanical issues put him and his brother Alex out of the Gold Coast 600. A good result will give him enough points to break into the top ten going in the final event in Sydney. He is currently sitting on 11th with 1626 points.
In the Number 4 car, Lee will also be looking to improve on his Gold Coast finish. With a string of crashes in the last couple of events, he will want to finish the year on a high. Is win number 2 for Erebus on the cards for Lee?
